I was asked by Can't Put It Down to write a blog on the need for diversity in children's books. As simple a task as this might be, this was actually a bit tricky for me. I felt like I'd written and spoken about the topic so many times, that I didn't know how to put what I was saying across in a different way for, what might be, a different audience.
But then I figured I was putting way too much thought into it and I just needed to express my thoughts on the situation, regardless of how many times I'd done it before. So I did!
