I Hosted My First #BeBoldBrunch 2019

Back in January I declared 2019 my #BeBold year, the year where I would push fear to the side and choose to be bold in all aspects of my life. On any leap of faith journey, it's important to continue to evolve and elevate. I wanted to be fearless with the decisions I made, the things I chose to do and the risks I would take so I could continue my elevation and take myself to the next level. I knew I needed to #BeBold to do that.

My #BeBold mindset helped me to have an incredible year of experiences and achievements, some of which I never expected. I said yes to things a lot more, and put myself in challenging situations so I could just figure things out, and I'm so blessed it paid off.

Last Sunday, 8th December, I had the pleasure of hosting my very first #BeBoldBrunch at Red Rooster in Shoreditch where I celebrated some other fabulous women who have also been BOLD this year. Each of the women I invited have done some amazing things and, through conversations and/or witnessing their journeys, have inspired and motivated to me keep going on my own journey. With the brunch, I wanted to create a space where these ladies could let their hair down, chill out and just celebrate themselves and all their dopeness!

We often hear people say we should give people their flowers while they can still smell them, so I gave every single lady a pink rose as a token of appreciation for all they've achieved in 2019. I wanted them to feel the love, and to know they have been seen and that I applaud them.

I also had my little sister and cousin, who are both 17, attend the brunch. I wanted them to be in a room with talented, empowering, BOLD bosses so they could be inspired and see positive representations of themselves as they navigate those crucial teenage years.

It's safe to say the brunch was a success! There were so many more women I wish I could've invited but capacity and budget is a thing lol, however I certainly plan to do this again!

A big thank you to Red Rooster for hosting us, and a huge shout out to all the ladies that came. 2019 was lit, 2020 is about to be a whole entire movie!
